Here’s my thoughts on the whole thing 👆🏼. On a side, but very relevant note: once I was in the talking stages with a guy I fancied and I went into a mushroom ceremony. The mushrooms told me he was my true love. I never spoke to him again. Every woman they know has too… Yet, every-time a man is accused we are met with the same harmful narratives that blame and shame women and it has to stop. The cultural tide won’t turn unless we make it turn. That means unpacking our own internalized misogyny - the rape culture conditioning that still whispers: “She should’ve known better.” “She must’ve wanted something.” “She’s probably lying.” The harm was enough.
